The girls have had a hard season so far, being a fairly young team presents its challanges. The girls starting varsity is composed of 1 senior, 3 juniors and the rest of the starters are sophmores. The team is pushing for the younger team members to strive to become better for the years to come. Captin Ciarra Vanderveen expressed that the team has had a difficult time scoring this year, but the team has recently changed their approach so she hopes that this will push the team to where they want to be. For the rest of the season, however, the girls team is determained to make it to Shorelines and then hopefully to states. We wish all the best for them!

This fall season the boys soccer team has faced many changes as well as many challenges. The new boys soccer coach seems to be focusing on teaching the boys how to work as a team to strive to their fullest potential. Although the boys have faced challanges because of sports injuries and medical issues the boys soccer team is still pushing forward in hopes to finish the season as strongly as possible. We wish them the best of the luck!

Feild Hockey Captians Rory Smith and Kaitlyn Conway
This year the Field Hockey team has a little bit of a challenge. Losing a majority of their seniors last year, this year’s team is extremely young. This presents a challenge for this year but creates an oppertunity to build a stronger team for future years. Although the girls have not won a game yet this season, the team is more focused on preparing the younger team, practicing as a full team not as separate varsity and junior varsity teams. As for the rest of the season, the girls are focused on making as many goals as possible and staying focused on their goal. Best of luck girls!

In past years, the cross country team has not been the biggest of teams, but this year, under the direction of Coach Underwood, the Cross Country team has not only grown but strived, with Brian Gendron placing 2nd in their previous meet. For the rest of the season, we wish the Cross Country team the best of luck. If you are around town and see a group of high school kids running their hearts out, it is the cross country team doing what they do best.
